**Job Description**:

- To provide operational specialist support across the Group with specific focus on Anglo American Platinum to ensure effective management, analysis and reporting of HR data and information and which will provide leaders with ready access to the HR information they need to support them in achieving their business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Champion the adoption of the HR Analytics solutions within Anglo Platinum and build a community of practice to develop best practices and knowledge to support the business users.
- Ensure alignment of the Group HR Analytics strategy while considering Anglo Platinum’s business needs and requirements.
- Partner with Anglo Platinum to define their Reporting and People Analytics requirements to ensure the delivery of these through the Group HR Analytics Service model and technologies/systems
- Develop, update and improve HR Analytics content as part of the Self-Service approach from the HR Analytics service model.
- Manage the On Demand approach of the HR Analytics service model. Ensure that the process from the generation of the task assignment, data extraction and review, analysis, and interpretation of the data to support the request, is consistent and in line with the HR Services Principles.
- Support the development of the Partnership approach of the HR Analytics service model. Contribute on the assessment and definition of the best practise approach of the partnership and the hypothesis to develop meaningful insights through detailed data analysis.
- Support workforce planning activities at Anglo Platinum
- Manage the reporting and analytics requirements for Anglo Platinum as defined by the Anglo Platinum Data & Analytics Manager
- Manage the monthly and annual headcount reporting process for Anglo Platinum in support of the Global Headcount Policy.
- Contribute on the Data Quality assurance: Use HR Analytics tools to identify data issues from core Anglo Platinum HR data systems and work with the relevant parties across the business to address the data issues
- Identify opportunities for automation of HR Analytics processes for both the Group and Anglo Platinum and support the implementation of any automation opportunities. Identify new ways of doing things and challenge the status quo in support of driving ongoing self service.
- Responsible of driving the roll out and adoption of HR Groups reporting & analytics tools beyond the Anglo Platinum HR community to line managers and leaders.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, using HR data analytics tools or other data sets and provide rapid iterations of analysis to refine posed problems, and identify potential solutions.
- Be an SME on the HR Analytics systems used to support the data analytics initiatives at both Group and Anglo Platinum, including system admin and usage and where required training end users on the solutions to support initiatives.
- Liaise with all key stakeholders (including external service providers) to develop and improve the quality of the data used for reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- NQF Level 7/Bachelors Degree/Advance Diploma in Data Analytics/Information Management

**Technical Knowledge**:
**Operations**:

- Experience of working within an HR or Shared Services environment within a complex multi-national organisation - ideally HR context
- Understanding and experience of HR systems - including Data Analytics solutions, SAP ERP & Success Factors.

**Commercial**:

- Track record of contributing to successful implementations of HR analytics systems and processes.

**Management**:

- Understand tools for creating a culture of purpose-led high performance and change within area
- Track record of interfacing with and influencing key stakeholders and colleagues

**Compliance**:

- Ability to understand Safety, health and environment, legislative, statutory and regulatory requirements in relation to role
