**Job Purpose**
- We are looking for a Senior Manager who is diligent, exceptionally imaginative, collaborative, and truly excited about enabling the delivery of great products, processes and capabilities within the Retail Trading VP team, and the overall work being done to drive success as a team as we work to support our customers.
The main purpose for the role is to deliver market-leading client solutions within the area of card and payment services while leveraging various channels and assets, team expertise, and data insights, all guided by a digital-first approach.
You will be responsible for defining product and service features, and prioritising delivery in line with their business value. You must possess an understanding of business objectives and be able to quantify value and risks as well as produce concrete solutions and subsequent roadmap features while collaborating closely with other business units including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Contact Center, IT, and Project Management to drive implementation.**Responsibilities**:

- Drive the digital transformation of cardholder services (and payments) from staff-assisted to client self-service activities leveraging Money App and Online Banking while delivering market leading client solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and segment partners in identifying trends and changing client preferences towards card and payments, and digital payment technologies.
- Business architect, provide thought leadership to problem solving by deploying design thinking and data-driven client insights.
- Develop business cases for client solutions with emphasis on viability, feasibility, and desirability, presenting these through project reviews / forums of approval and sign-off.
- Manage the portfolio of priority projects that need to be delivered through the development pipeline to bring to market the designed digital CVPs and desired CX.
- Deliver initiatives through relevant teams including close working relationships with development teams of system and platform architects, process engineers to understand and communicate product/solution vision, strategy, and roadmaps that are aligned with Retail Trading strategies and initiatives
- Manage and drive continued adoption of digital capabilities such as virtual cards. xPays, etc.
- Support of wider product team initiatives, including development of new products and/or journeys
- Monitor results and performance; and provide regular updates to the wider business on product priority, delivery, and adoption including performance and trends
- Develop reporting and monitoring capabilities
- Develop a deep understanding of card digital capabilities and stays current with industry trends and recommends relevant technologies & products in emerging technologies

**Essential Qualifications - NQF Level**
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

**Preferred Qualification**
- Business Science or BCom Finance Analytics as a Major or Bachelor of Science in Analytics, Financial Engineering or Maths or Finance
- At least 2 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing products
- At least 2 years of experience working in Agile Development Methodology
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 + years of experience in the financial services industry
- Proven track record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals
- Ideally knowledge of the credit card sector and its products, or at least relevant experience in Financial Services
