What will you do?
This is a senior-level position in Enterprise Development, and forms part of the MANCO. The role is primarily accountable for managing SanlamConnect's relationships with its corporate partners, identifying growth partnering opportunities/initiatives, developing strategies and plans to implement/execute these, and putting in place the required processes, systems and governances to ensure the sustainability of these new business initiatives.
Key focus areas for this role include;
- In collaboration with executive leadership develop and implement long-term partner growth strategies for SanlamConnect and its partners
- Establish and maintain synergistic relationships with identified Sanlam corporate partners.
- Identity and develop (concept, business case, distribution model) business growth opportunities/initiatives with corporate partners (Growth projects)
- Ensure effective communication, information and internal SanlamConnect buy-in of new business initiatives.
- Plan and implement new business opportunities within SanlamConnect
- Ensure requisite processes, systems, metrics, tools and governances are in place to support these new initiatives to succeed.
- Track, measure and report the profitability and viability of these initiatives in SanlamConnect
- Prioritize the development and implementation of a Healthcare Solutions distribution offering for SanlamConnect
- Budgets and expense management
What will make you successful in this role?

Qualification & experience
- Preferably 10 years financial services distribution experience (distribution, operations and remuneration models preferred)
- Management/leadership experience at a senior level
- Post graduate degree in Commerce/Business/MBA/BSc
- Healthcare product/scheme experience advantageous
