**Job Title: Supplier Liaison - Automotive Manufacturing Quality Control**

**Job Location: BMW Rosslyn Plant, Johannesburg**

**Job Type: Part-Time**

**Description**:
We are currently offering a part-time position as a liaison between suppliers and automotive manufacturers, at the BMW Rosslyn plant. The liaison serves as a representative for the suppliers and conducts investigations within the car manufacturing production line to address any issues, providing reports to the supplier.

It provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with top-tier suppliers and leading car manufacturers to ensure the seamless flow of vehicle production.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Quality Control Investigations**: Conduct thorough inspections and investigations within the car manufacturing production line to promptly identify and resolve any quality-related issues.

**Supplier Collaboration**: Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, fostering strong working relationships to ensure clear communication and prompt issue resolution.

**Data Collection**: Gather and analyze data related to product quality, defects, and performance, and maintain detailed records for reporting purposes.

**Issue Reporting**: Prepare comprehensive reports detailing quality issues, root causes, and suggested corrective actions. Communicate these findings effectively to suppliers and internal teams.

**Continuous Improvement**: Work closely with suppliers to implement corrective actions, preventive measures, and process improvements to enhance product quality and consistency.

**Quality Assurance**: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures, ensuring that products meet or exceed BMW's quality standards.

**Documentation**: Maintain accurate documentation of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, supplier interactions, and improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- **Previous Experience in Manufacturing Industry**: Must
- **Automotive Industry Knowledge**: preferred
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- **Detail-Oriented**: Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues and implement precise solutions.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Proven ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- **Team Player**: Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- **Availability**: Flexibility to work part-time hours as required by the BMW Rosslyn Plant's production schedule.
- **Education**: A relevant degree or certification in quality control, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation and Work Schedule:

- Monthly Salary: $1,300 USD
- Weekly Hours: 15-20 hours

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: R24,000.00 per month
