Team Leader: Call Centre

We are an established law firm in Johannesburg North, currently seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee our debt collection team. This position is ideal for a goal-oriented leader with a strong background in debt recovery who can motivate and guide a team to achieve outstanding results.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage a team of debt collectors to achieve monthly targets and uphold high recovery rates.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and internal policies.
- Handle escalated debtor queries and complaints, providing fair and effective resolutions.
- Monitor and report on team performance, providing accurate data to management and identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement disciplinary measures and performance improvement plans as needed to maintain a productive work environment.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Minimum Matric; a tertiary qualification in Credit, Risk, or Business Management is advantageous.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role within a debt collection environment.
- **Skills**:
- Solid understanding of debt collection processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire team members.
- Effective decision-making, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
