**The IIE's Varsity College, Waterfall National Office in Midrand has a vacancy for a Business Applications Co-ordinator - Finance.**
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**System Administration**
- System administration and related support and maintenance of the relevant Business Application Systems in all areas.
- Working with specific users to support them in their roles - assisting with user queries, trouble shooting, resolution of problems and escalation where necessary.
- Responsible for communicating with staff especially with regards to Updates, problems and feedback
- Establish and maintain relationships with Key stakeholders i.e. AdvTech IT and other
- Communicate effectively with other team members, clients, and users, AdvTech IT and other to promote co-operation and mutual success in the specified areas
- Implementation of role appropriate initiatives and innovation - where applicable.
- This individual should be a problem solver who is willing to listen to staff concerns and questions, who knows all available resources, and who is willing to take issues forward to the appropriate parties
**Training**
- Participate in training programmes and initiatives in order to ensure that stakeholders and users have the required knowledge to make optimal use of the relevant Business Application systems. This includes new user training, ongoing training and the management of all relevant training materials.
- Helpdesk management, daily logging of helpdesk queries, tracking the resolution of queries and incidents, trouble shooting and a monthly helpdesk analysis.

**Finance**
- Assistance with Key Business Strategic initiatives i.e. Bursary Management, Registration Contracts, audits and other key finance or business-related projects.
- Assistance with key Business strategic system related projects - where necessary.
**Competencies (Skills and Behavioural Attributes)**
- Interpersonal skills characterized by tact and diplomacy and an ongoing ability to participate effectively in a team and with various stakeholders and at different levels.
- High delivery ability, demonstrated experience in planning, work scheduling including day-to-day operational tasks and project tasks including capacity to organise own work and work against tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Systematic in approach to tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to understand and analyse business process and systems and communicate accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:
- Relevant degree in the related discipline - Finance, Business Analyst or Information Systems.
**Minimum Work Experience Required**:
- Minimum of three years working experience - ideally in the related fields of Finance, IT/Business Analysis and or project management.
**Special Requirement**:
- Drivers license and own vehicle essential
