Sheq Systems Administrator

RCL FOODS is recruiting for a SHEQ Systems Administrator on a fixed term contract, based in Westville. The successful incumbent will coordinate SHERQ reporting and documentation process accurately, provide administrative support to National QA/SHER Compliance Manager for maintaining current Food Division certifications and Total Integrated Management Systems (TIMS) and BI reporting structures.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Provides administrative support for Total Integrated Management Systems (TIMS)
Maintains administration of the Food Division TIMS’ records, documentation, files and manuals to ensure risk management, sustainability, and continuous improvement and realization of commercial benefit, improvement of product quality, food/feed safety, animal welfare and customer satisfaction
Obtain and Review Food Division leading and lagging KPI’s action plans for and not limited to
- Microbiological Monitoring Programme
Non-Conformances
Audit Inspection programme
Incident Management and Change Control
Data management and integrity
SHERQ training
SHERQ Communications
Risk assessments
Complaints
External audits
Auditing of daily BI verification of records documentation and reports
Internal & External Audits
- Assisting with documentation, records and files during both internal and external audits. Participate in Inter-site audits for Food Division
Communication and Reporting
- Complete weekly & monthly reports on SHEQ systems issue and progress made
Report required figures and results to National QA Compliance Manager
Maintains QFS Legal Registers and update system with relevant regulations, standards and acts
Supports the National QA Compliance Manager on QFS regulatory tasks, specification reviews and internal compliance audits
Supports the SHER Compliance Manager on SHER related compliance task
Cheque Requisition
- Compiles cheque requisition for SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) & CGCSA (Consumer Goods Council of South Africa) monthly fees
Consolidates cheque requisition compiled for ISO 22000 certification monthly fees and other SHERQ related requisition
**Minimum Requirements**:
Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiologist, Environmental Management and or Quality Management
Minimum of 2 years’ experience is required in a similar capacity within an FMCG environment
Computer Literate (strong in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
**Knowledge**:
Understanding of Product Data Catalogue (PDC)
Electronic Data (ED) System
Quality Control and Quality Assurance
