Retail Mass Human Capital has a 6-months fixed-term contract position available within the Organisational Effectiveness business unit, based in Houghton, reporting into the Head: Organisational Effectiveness. Job Description
This role will be focused on providing specialist knowledge and expert guidance - as well as delivering a variety of initiatives and projects to the business within the Organisational Effectiveness Centre of Expertise (CoE).

Major responsibilities may include designing/sourcing and implementing interventions which will develop the core competencies and attitudes required for the achievement of the corporate business strategies. Responsibilities may include internal consulting, management assessment and development, career development, attitudinal surveys. Job Purpose
Organisational Effectiveness Consultant is responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of business operational plans and programs are realized. Partner with clients/stakeholders to translate business needs into organisational implications, including developing and implementing high-quality, cost effective organisational solutions. Continually emphasize Retail Mass core values and purpose with all stakeholders and teams in order to align all operational and strategic decisions with enterprise goals and purpose Key Responsibilities

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Organisational Culture, Values and Leadership Effectiveness
Look at the system from the inside out; identify the deep-seated organizational issues from a culture, values and leadership perspective
Conceptualise and drive the delivery of a variety of culture-building programmes / initiatives, including those around diversity appreciation, values programmes, change capability building and employee engagement
Consult and guide HC and line management on the optimal approach to dealing with people and behavior
Engaging with the HC delivery partners (HC managers and HC consultants) as well as line managers across the business on issues around talent, performance, culture, engagement, leadership development, change and team effectiveness.
Align change management activities to facilitate understanding and adoption of new roles and processes in the business
Acts as a change agent, manage projects and provide the support and mechanism to implement major changes to the operations of the business.
Organisational effectiveness and Best Practice
Introduction of new HC ideas and concepts in a business
Contribute Expertise and specialized knowledge as well as a hands-on approach to generating ideas and solutions will enable the incumbent to act as a source of support and best practice leadership within the HC team, around particular areas of expertise
Support identified Organisational Effectiveness initiatives and facilitate as per Retail Mass Strategic plan
Support the goal of establishing the human capital of the organisation as a critical component in accomplishing business goals.
To coordinate and facilitate the implementation of all organisational wide process in order to enable the diagnosis, action/intervention planning and evaluation.
Drive and enhance the organisational culture of excellence across the business - already mentioned
Assists with the provision of expert facilitation and coaching to staff and managers regarding organisational effectiveness methods and tools.
Helps to create communication strategies that support critical initiatives in the form of message and plan development.
Develop and execute a system to hold new staff accountable for expected operational
Access and synthesize data from a variety of sources to formulate informed viewpoints on organisational issues. (organisational effectiveness and best practice)
Develop solutions along with the HC delivery chain to improve performance, morale and culture
Change Management and Culture
Monitor and regularly evaluate the company culture and engagement.
Lead the development of change management action plans, including recommended practices and interventions to address the culture and engagement themes.
Ensure that the company develops, implements and supports a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Team Effectiveness
Diagnose and address dysfunctional teams; design and facilitate interventions
