**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:Technical Sales Internship

The list referred to below is by no means exhaustive but simply serves to commit the Employee’s primary duties and responsibilities to writing.

**Main Purpose of Position**:
We are looking for IT graduates who are passionate about learning, technology, and sales.

We are looking for a highly motivated team member that will help us sell our hardware products, provide support to the pre-sales team, account manager as well as brand managers, by managing allocated accounts, help to come up with unique and creative marketing, and brand awareness strategies.

**What will you learn and gain during the Internship?**

**Account Management and Hardware Sales**
- Assist and contribute to the External AM by driving revenue targets through a targeted set of partners.
- Business development and sales, Dell CSG partners.
- Driving reseller business and marketing strategy to enable the expansion of the FD CSG portfolio within existing and new targeted accounts.
- Understand reseller strategy, programs, and complete portfolio of products
- Sales Certifications to be current on all brands and maintained.
- Bi-weekly Business Review Session with AM, Brand, and Presales (FD).
- Weekly Pipeline Status of projected deals and probability of deal status. Report opportunity details to the Sales manager regularly (bi-weekly) showing deal progression and pipeline creation using the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Discuss KPI and Target tracking weekly.
- Track and forecast, Partner Activities, and status of activities achieved.
- Feedback on Brand performance and measure success are to be discussed in weekly meetings with the Sales manager.
- Engage and communicate Brand updates to Resellers
- Attend bi-weekly Brand Discussions, planning, pipeline, and update sessions the with Brand team
- Build and manage relationships with Key Resellers and FD Brand and Pre-sales teams
- Attend Vendor Conferences.
- Demonstrate sales growth.
- Ensure that sales targets are achieved and report any deviations with detailed reasoning.

**Marketing**
- Ensure that all resellers are aware of all company Events and initiatives and encourage them to attend.

**Reseller Management**
- Managing resellers expectations by engaging with, operations, Brand and Pre-sales teams to support all Reseller requests.
- Attend training provided by Vendors to become self-sufficient in the sales of products.

**Minimum Requirements**
- IT Diploma or relevant
- Sound knowledge of hardware and software products
- Sales experience would be advantageous
- A strong interest in technical sales
- Ability to work well with teams.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Good planning and organising skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months
