Product Support Agent

Centurion, South Africa EKS Vehicle Tracking Full time

We are currently recruiting for a Product Support Agent to be based at Head Office, Centurion. The successful incumbent will be responsible for troubleshooting product issues, providing timely customer feedback, and supporting roll-out of new products, among other duties.

Moreover, Product Support Agent need to communicate to clients directly, as well as create written documentation which requires excellent written and verbal communication.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identifying hardware and software solutions.
- Troubleshooting product issues.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults.
- Resolving unit communication issues.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software.
- Speaking to clients to quickly get to the root of their problem.
- Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
- Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
- Following up with Research & Development to ensure the problem is resolved.
- Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
- Supporting the roll-out of new products.
- Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
- Managing multiple cases at one time.
- Testing and evaluating new technologies.
- Conducting electrical safety checks on equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Electrical/Electronics qualification.
- Certification in auto electrical is advantageous.
- Experience with vehicle tracking devices.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle tracking industry.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
