**Job Advert Summary**:
The HSRC seeks to make an appointment within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Unit. SCM is a regulated function in terms of the PFMA. The Supply Chain Management team provides professional services to the HSRC. Its work processes and policies have been streamlined and simplified to deliver user-oriented, value-adding services.

The Helpdesk Administrator will ensure that the HSRC End Users understand the SCM processes and procedures and adhere to the rules and regulations governing government procurement while maintaining good working relations with external service providers and providing front office assistance to both internal and external SCM customers.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A three-year National Diploma or Degree in Public Management and Governance, Purchasing Management, and Supply Chain Management
- At least 3 - 5 year’s experience in supply chain management, demand, acquisitions, and/or logistics management;
- Strong computer skills
- English well spoken
- Good analytical, and negotiation skills
- Customer service orientate
- Good interpersonal, planning, organizing, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of tender administration will be an added advantage

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure User specifications are correct and funds are available prior to initiate the procurement process.
- Follow up on problematic requisitions.
- Assist Buyers in identifying capable and competent suppliers.
- Assist Users regarding late deliveries of orders, non-delivery of services, and poor service delivery by Service Providers.
- Provide clarity on User specifications to suppliers.
- Follow-up on outstanding and late payments.
- Ensure all suppliers receive the same information relating to intended acquisitions.
- Follow-up on late delivery of ordered goods and services.
- Ensure timely submission of annual performance plans including personal development plan with immediate supervisor;
- Adhere to set performance review dates with the supervisor.
