The Administrator: IT has the responsibility of effectively dealing with the day-to-day IT and related administrative operational issues providing general support to users on the available ICT systems and administrative-related processes.

**Asset Management**

1. Manage the IT store, including access, all stock and levels. Maintain the asset list on a weekly basis. Ensure the asset register is always up to date.
2. Managing all administrative duties from Business requirement to purchase of assets (Quote, Orders, Invoices)
3. Update and maintain IT budget actuals.

**Technical Audit**

1. Verification of system generated reporting against actuals for all IT systems.
2. Logical Access maintenance across all systems
3. Maintain and update security hygiene list.
4. Data Line, 3G and mobile phone utilization and hygiene checks and actions
5. Investigate backup report and escalate failures.

**Helpdesk Administration**

1. Assigning, managing and escalate helpdesk tickets.
2. Manage Root Cause Analysis system, by updating and ensuring all incidents are logged and updated on a daily basis
3. Change Management system updated, ensuring all systems changes are logged, updated, scheduled and completed in time. Chair the weekly CAB meeting.
4. Event Management tickets filtered assigned and reported on during the working day.
5. Telephone Management, number allocation and call log reporting.

**Project Administration**

1. Coordinate project tasks between users and IT.
2. Coordinate tasks between suppliers and IT
3. Custodian of document management systems and IT documents

**First line Support**

1. Password Changes
2. Account management in Active directory; Ensure account hygiene is maintained at all times, such as new account creation, termination, inactive accounts and modifications.
3. Biometric system administration, supplier interaction, and escalations.
4. Queuing System administration, supplier interaction, and escalations.
5. Content Display support administration, supplier interaction, and escalations.

**Working conditions**:
Mostly Office Based. Limited Travelling will be required. Occasional Standby and after hours work required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
1. Grade 12
2. 2 Years’ experience in a similar role

**Skills & Knowledge Required**:
1. Strong Administrative skills
2. MS Office
3. Understanding of IT systems and administration thereof
4. Financial administration
