Our client, a Non-Profit Organization for the aged, is seeking a **Regional Coordinator: Quality Care and Wellness** **(Registered Nurse)**. You will be in a supportive role to the Regional Manager, ensuring high-quality care services dedicated to enhancing the well-being and quality life for all residents. You will be responsible for visiting all care facilities regularly to evaluate care compliance, monitor training programs, and provide support to Registered Nurses and care staff to ensure the highest standards of care are in line with organizational policies, protocols, and best practices.

**Key Performance Areas**
- **Facility Visits** - conduct regular visits to all care facilities to assess the quality of care provided and ensure compliance with established standards, regulations, and best practices.
- **Compliance monitoring** - review and evaluate care plans, documentation, and practices to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- **Training and Education** - collaborate with the relevant training department to develop and implement training programs for care staff, ensuring they are up to date on the latest best practices and protocols.
- **Staff Grading Program **- describe the ongoing staff grading program aimed at evaluating the performance and competence of care staff.
- **Quality Improvement **- identify areas for improvement in care delivery and work with facility staff to develop and implement corrective action plans.
- **Policy Development **- assist in the development and revision of organizational policies and protocols related to care quality, ensuring they reflect current industry standards and regulations.
- **Data Analysis **- collect and analyze data related to care quality.
- **Support and Guidance **- provide guidance and support to RN’s and care staff.
- **Complaint Resolution **- Investigate and resolve any complaints under the direction of the Regional Manager.
- **Reporting **- you will be responsible for preparing and submitting comprehensive monthly reports to the Regional Manager.
- **Compliance overview**

**Requirements**:

- Nursing Diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing science
- Valid registration with the South African Nursing Council
- Computer Literacy - proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
- 5 Years in a similar environment (understanding and knowledge of elderly care)
- 5 Years previous managerial position
- Valid Driver’s License

**Competencies desired - advantageous**
- Medication Dispensing License
- Dementia Training and accredited certification
- BLS Level 2 and or 3
- Certificate in Geriatric nursing
- Previous Dementia experience - essential
- Proof of professional indemnity and medical malpractice insurance

**Salary**:Market Related, depending on experience

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month

- SANC Registration (required)
