This role is for an entrepreneurial out of the box thinker, with a strong analytical and creative mindset who can be hands-on as well as think strategically.

You'll be driven by numbers and data, up-to date with the latest SEO best practice, and have a thorough understanding of the SEO challenges faced by large dynamic content driven websites.

Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our company’s profitability

**SEO Manager responsibilities include**:
**FIXING ANY SEO ISSUES THAT ARISE FROM google console, Ahrefs, Semrush etc.**

Set up and manage SEO reporting

Develop and formalize SEO KPIs and metrics for success

Work closely with management to set up improved reporting and SEO tracking

Identify on-site and off-site SEO opportunities and weaknesses

Resolve any technical issues hindering growth

Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation

Develop and implement content syndication campaigns

Grow relationships and initiatives with digital partners and content creators

Work closely with a copywriter to optimize on page SEO & conversion rates

Conduct technical SEO audits and identify technical fixes that will drive the most SEO value

- Coordinating content, design, social media, pay-per-click (PPC) marketing and other activities

**Responsibilities**
- Fix technical issues yourself
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
- Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy
- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
- Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
- Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns
- Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with SEO reporting
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude

**A little about who you are**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 1year’s experience in SEO would be beneficial.
- Highly competent in Excel, analytics and data analysis Proficient in conducting technical audits on large content driven websites Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Experience with SEO tools such as Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush or similar rank tracking tools, crawling tools and backlink analysis tools
- An understanding of customer acquisition and how SEO fits into the wider channel mix
