- Administering and organizing a trademark prosecution practice - opening and preparing client files, capturing data, and updating online records; reporting; following up
- Preparing accounts for clients and prompt time capturing; follow up payments of debtors.
- Assisting with general ad hoc tasks related to the practice
- Dictaphone and copy typing of a wide variety of documents
- General Secretarial functions
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Matric Essential
- Secretarial diploma/ legal secretary/
- paralegal qualification advantageous
- 3 years+ Secretarial experience essential
- Full working knowledge of all MS packages
- Working knowledge of CMS and iManage Work an advantage
- Intellectual Property Secretarial experience an advantage; working knowledge of Inprotech or IP management system an advantage
