Ensures that the legal process is carried out

Draft Founding Affidavit in terms of the agreement

Draft Lost Document Affidavit (if original agreement is lost)

Arrange delivery and collection of affidavit(s) to be signed

Draft Notice of Motion once all documents received

Follows up at court - default judgements & court orders

Confirm Sheriff jurisdiction by domicilium address

Draft instruction to Sheriff

Follow up regarding service of Notice of Motion

Arrange collection of Sheriff's Return of Service

Draft Internal reports

Arrange and/or confirm settlement negotiations and/or payment arrangements

Draft and prepare Counsel's brief

Liaise with Counsel

Manages day-to-day client interaction

Admin & Filing

Relevant qualification
- Paralegal Diploma

Experience in the financial recoveries environment

Minimum three (3) years paralegal experience

Analytical skills

Critical thinking skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Attention to detail and accuracy

Problem solving skills

Self-motivated

Organized and detail-oriented

Prioritize workload and meets deadlines

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to maintain high levels of confidence and integrity

Able to work without supervision
