We are looking for someone to join our Sales team who is eager to learn with a creative mindset, support their colleagues, and have fun.

About the Role

As a Workday Sales Specialist for Financial Management Cloud, you will be one of the first on the ground in South Africa selling financials software for a dynamic, field sales organisation growing at an exceptional pace. You will use your extensive experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.

You will employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Workday as a viable alternative to legacy ERP & Financial solutions. You will help develop customers into key references for Workday. If you have a stellar sales track record, are a self starter, and love working in a dynamic environment, then Workday is the place for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday
- Be the first in market on the ground building the success of Workday financials
- Provide support for marketing activities and events
- Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners
- Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data

About You
- Understanding of Core Financials including GL/AR/AP
- 7+ years of selling to C-level within large enterprise accounts from a direct, field sales position
- Understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday
- 7+ years experience managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
- Experience as a leader as well as a coach in a team selling environment
- Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A deep understanding of the finance function
- Ability to quickly understand business challenges and create solutions
- Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners
- Experience in a team selling environment preferred
- Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
