Our client, in the restaurant industry, is situated in **Camps Bay**, and they are seeking a dedicated and experienced **General Administrative Manager** to support their team in delivering top-notch service and unforgettable dining experiences.
**Role Overview**
As the Administrative Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the seamless functioning of our restaurant. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties including inventory management, HR and Payroll, supplier management, and general administrative tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**
Inventory Management
- Implement and maintain an efficient inventory tracking system.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and analyse usage patterns to optimize inventory turnover.
Supplier Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor product quality, and manage vendor performance.
General Administration
- Streamline administrative processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.
HR and Payroll
- Manage the recruitment, training, and development of restaurant staff.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Administrative Manager or similar leadership role in a high-end restaurant or hospitality establishment.
- Strong business acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry best practices, and guest service standards.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software (GAAP POS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Proficiency in HR and Payroll procedures, including labour laws and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must have own transport
This position is **in the restaurant** and is **full-time (5 days per week)**
**Starting date**: As soon as possible
**Location**: Camps Bay, Cape Town.
**Salary**: R15 000-R20 000 CTC depending on experience
