**Responsibilities**:
**What are we looking for?**:
Core Commercial Goals:

- To co-create and execute customer centric solutions for the E-commerce channels and customers for PO1 which will enable growth acceleration for PepsiCo, winning versus completion and be seen as a trusted advisor by customers as per Advantage Monitor (TAG) priorities.
- To create and enable implementation of toolkits for key strategic priorities, namely EDGE shopper principles, drive granular growth through gold-standard omnichannel execution.
- Overall, the role will enable the elevation of standards from ‘foundational’ to ‘good’ and ultimately to ‘best-in-class’.

**Accountabilities**:

- Build trusted advisor for Modern Trade (Organized Trade) and E-commerce customers, demonstrating knowledge and strategic thinking and alignment.
- Build category growth plans to enable Sales team to sell PepsiCo ideas to customers that will drive joint growth for PepsiCo and customers.
- Drive Execution excellence for the eCommerce channel by supporting the business with identifying the right offering for omni-channel & online retail customers & online shoppers.
- Analyze multiple data sets to provide category insight on drivers of performance of both the overall category and top customers, providing benchmarking, strategies and potential tactics to capitalize on mutually beneficial growth opportunities.
- Create customer centric category visions leveraging the DX operating model (Identify, Engage, Convert, Optimize) to gain alignment and support from stakeholders, both internally and externally to enable Category Captaincy and long-term partnership.
- Support customers on long term strategy reviews with end-to-end connected plans that incorporate shopper insights, category management and shopper marketing suite
- Secure trusted advisor status by demonstrating PepsiCo's insight and thinking and drive long term win-win solutions for PepsiCo and the customer through shopper and channel centric strategies and plans.
- Define what success looks like at e-commerce point of purchase, provides common language and education on execution levers, and establish a standard set of global KPIs to measure compliance and progress
- Build executional excellence - Empower local digital store execution by providing validated global standards and best practices on sub-channel level.
- Generate comprehensive knowledge on online user experience elevate digital store execution with focus on portfolio & visibility.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer through establishment of a global community for exchange of best practices.
- Own E-Commerce agenda pure play retailers including, but not limited, to Takealot, Loot, Zulzi, as well as omni channel platforms (e.g. Checkers 606/60) and alternative app based delivery services

Qualifications:
**What will qualify you for this role?**

Tertiary Qualification in a Commercial, Business or Statistical field coupled with previous exposure to FMCG environment (Understanding of the retailer landscape, and instore challenges) and at least 5 years’ experience across data analysis, strategy creation, category management.
