We are a global consulting, event management and leadership development organisation that focuses within elite sport and corporate sectors. We offer a wide range of sports and business leadership initiatives such as focus groups, leadership programmes, as well as consulting services.

Our three main programmes are the Elite Sport Summit, which takes place in Cape Town annually and the London Leadership Summit, which takes place at the London Stock Exchange annually and the USA Leadership Summit which takes place New York City annually.

**Business Development Executive - Job Description**

Our growing company is seeking to hire a dynamic and confident Business Development Executive who will be responsible to help drive the sales for our global events business.

Your role will involve hitting the group target, as well as coordinating with our CEO on the lead generation sales strategy. You will be tasked to call and sell tickets, exhibitions and sponsorship to our events in New York, London and Cape Town.

As Business Development Executive, you will be attracting top decision-makers, HR professionals and sports coaches to attend our various events from all over the world, as well as taking advantage of the generous bonus scheme available.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent written communication skills, not scared to pick up the phone and call blue-chip global organisations, telephone manners and the ability to sell.

Previous event and/or telesales experience are a must. We need a highly effective closer with at least 2 years of sales experience.

**Business Development Executive - Requirements**:

- Tertiary education or related
- English first language
- 2/3 years of event and/or telesales sales experience
- Experience in customer relationship account management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to providing great customer service
- Not scared to pick up the phone
