**Event Manager**
Evenco International specialises in asset management data solutions and fund
forums across Europe where we bring together leading global asset managers and
senior fund selectors to discuss and debate the latest investment ideas. We operate
out of Moorgate in London. Our conferences take place in the UK & across Europe.
This role will involve the management of proprietary and sponsor/client led events.
Since March 2020, we have also brought virtual events into our portfolio, so previous
knowledge of virtual event platforms and streaming, would be advantageous.
Throughout the pandemic, Evenco has doubled in size, as a result of the team and
its talent. We are a dynamic, ambitious, international company - with a highly
successful track-record.
**As an Events Manager**:
- Managing your own event portfolio of leading European conferences.- Overseeing events from inception to completion, liaising with the audience development team and marketing, by managing event documentation, working across departments, post event evaluation.- Attending events to support the team, venue, and suppliers ensuring that sponsors and delegates have a positive experience, when necessary.- Understanding the factors that determine and influence event costs and proactively looking at cost efficiencies, areas for negotiation and enhancement and proposing changes to the business where possible.- Idea generation to improve the conferences and operations.- Creating and managing event budget.- Working closely with our sponsors, creating a relationship of trust based on excellent customer service.- Working closely with our current venues and forward venue planning - looking ahead for newly opened venues, unique ideas and competitor venues to maintain our edge in the market.- Liaising with and sourcing suppliers, including regular reviews of current and prospective suppliers and cost/contract negotiation.- Creating and maintaining event websites on our dedicated event platform.- Develop strong relationships with teams across the wider business, as a key colleague in our fast growing company.
**The Ideal Events Manager**:
- 1+ years of event experience with a strong proven background in the lifecycle of event structure and delivery.- Knowledge of event management platforms would be advantageous.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills via telephone, face to face or virtually to ensure the development of strong relationships.- Highly organised with an eye for detail and a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.- Display high standards of service and presentation.- Proven ability of working under pressure, with great organisational and time management skills.- Passion for conferences.- Ambitious to grow and develop professionally.- A team spirited colleague.- The confidence to network and build lasting relationships with senior
