Performance Marketing Specialist

Milktree is a UK-based digital agency serving clients across a variety of industries. We are looking for a **Paid Ads Specialist** with proven expertise in both Facebook and Google Ads platforms to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, optimising, and managing paid ad campaigns that drive tangible results for our diverse client portfolio. **Key Responsibilities**
**Campaign Planning & Execution**
- Develop end-to-end paid ad strategies on Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and budget planning for campaigns aligned with client objectives.
**Performance Optimisation**
- Continuously monitor campaign metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement A/B testing, ad creative variations, and bid adjustments to maximise performance.
**Analytics & Reporting**
- Track and analyse key performance indicators using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Business Suite, and third-party platforms.
- Present clear, concise reports to showcase campaign results and justify strategic decisions.
**Collaboration & Coordination**
- Work closely with the Account Director and other team members (e.g., content creators, designers) to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Communicate openly with clients or internal stakeholders about campaign progress, challenges, and next steps.
**References & Portfolio**
- Be prepared to share examples of successful ad campaigns and references who can attest to your results.
- Demonstrate a track record of scaling ad spend and achieving strong ROI.
**Required Skills & Experience**
**Proven Success in Paid Advertising**
- 2-3 years (or more) of hands-on experience managing Facebook and Google Ads for multiple clients, ideally in an agency environment.
- Evidenced ability to optimise budgets effectively and drive significant leads, sales, or conversions.
**Strong Analytical Mindset**
- Comfortable interpreting data trends, setting up custom reports, and making performance-based decisions.
- Familiarity with tracking tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and remarketing tactics.
**Knowledge of Ad Policies & Best Practices**
- Up-to-date on Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) policies to ensure campaigns remain compliant.
- Skilled at writing effective ad copy and selecting visuals that resonate with target audiences.
**Excellent Communication & Teamwork**
- Able to present campaign insights in a clear, actionable manner to both clients and colleagues.
- Willing to collaborate with designers, copywriters, and project managers to deliver cohesive campaigns.
**Adaptability & Proactivity**
- Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Propose fresh ideas or new channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) to expand reach.
