Head of Performance Marketing

What you will be doing:
Develop and implement a detailed digital acquisition strategy that aligns with the clients overarching business objectives, including net growth, revenue, and profitability targets
Lead a team of digital experts specializing in paid media, SEO, web development, and CRM to execute the digital acquisition strategy effectively
Oversee relationships with third-party vendors contracted by the client to support the execution of the digital acquisition strategy
Manage the allocation and utilization of budgets for digital marketing initiatives and supporting technologies
Direct the deployment of all digital marketing efforts and technological solutions required to achieve acquisition goals
Take hands-on responsibility for digital tracking, analytics, and database management to ensure accurate campaign measurement and performance reporting
Establish and maintain the data infrastructure and technology platforms essential to support the clients digital acquisition strategy
Evaluate digital marketing performance metrics and ensure they align with revenue and profitability objectives
Explore and introduce innovative approaches to acquiring new customers, including creative digital campaigns and product development
Collaborate with the Head of Brand and Communications to ensure consistent messaging across all customer interactions
Work alongside the Head of Member Engagement and Retention to design integrated campaigns targeting high-value customers
Partner with teams in sales, creative, product, loyalty, and customer service to deliver a seamless customer experience
Assess and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts, offering actionable recommendations for improvement
Engage with global marketing specialists to influence and contribute to the broader strategic direction
Lead senior stakeholders within the clients ecosystem, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration
Guide a high-performing performance marketing team, driving success through key performance indicators
Provide mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities to all direct reports within the digital team
Required Experience and Skills:
Experience: At least 8+ years in digital acquisition marketing with a proven track record across paid and owned channels; 3+ years in a senior management role
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and successfully complete projects
Technical Expertise: Proficient with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Looker Studio, and marketing automation tools like HubSpot
Analytical Skills: Strong knowledge of data analysis, segmentation, and reporting
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term acquisition goals
Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining accountability and ownership
Certifications: Familiarity with content marketing, email marketing, lead generation, customer journey mapping, and customer engagement tools
