We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead our sales and marketing efforts in the relevant industry. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and elevating the brand presence of our garment products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies specific to the relevant industry, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set ambitious revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the relevant sector.
- Utilize market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Lead efforts to position our garment products effectively in the market, ensuring a compelling and differentiated brand image.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to align products with market demands.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
- Implement effective sales strategies, including channel development, client acquisition, and account management.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives tailored to the relevant industry.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, and distributors.
- Collaborate with the customer relationship department to address client needs and enhance satisfaction.
- Plan and participate in relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products and expand business networks.
- Identify opportunities for sponsorships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility.
- Implement robust sales forecasting processes to track performance against targets.
- Provide regular reports to executive leadership on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors or Master's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the relevant industry.
- In-depth knowledge of products, têxtiles, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to success.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for client relationship management.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research and data analysis.
- Familiarity with production processes and supply chain management.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with renowned garment brands or manufacturers.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the relevant industry.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and online sales channels in the relevant sector.

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
