**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Image Editing**:

- Assist in basic photo retouching, color correction, and enhancement using photo editing software.
- Follow established editing guidelines and styles to maintain visual consistency.

**File Organization**:

- Organize and categorize digital image files for easy retrieval and reference.
- Maintain a systematic and efficient file structure for both current and archived projects.

**Collaboration with Senior Editors**:

- Work closely with senior photo editors and photographers to understand project requirements.
- Execute editing tasks as directed, incorporating feedback to refine editing skills.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct quality checks on edited images to ensure they meet established standards.
- Identify and address any inconsistencies or discrepancies in edited photos.

**Metadata Management**:

- Add relevant metadata to images for proper cataloging and searchability.
- Ensure accurate labeling of files, including captions, keywords, and other descriptive information.

**Project Support**:

- Assist in the preparation of images for various projects, such as publications, websites, or exhibitions.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality edited images.

**Software Proficiency**:

- Stay updated on the latest features and tools within photo editing software.
- Utilize advanced features when required and maintain proficiency in industry-standard editing tools.

**Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project timelines, priorities, and special editing requirements.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the overall editing process.

**Research and Learning**:

- Stay informed about current trends and techniques in photo editing and post-production.
- Seek opportunities for continued learning and skill development in the field.

**Administrative Support**:

- Manage and organise schedules, appointments, and bookings.
- Maintain and update client databases and project files.
- Coordinate logistics for photo shoots, including equipment rentals and permits.

**Marketing Support**:

- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Manage social media accounts, including content creation and posting schedules.
- Create visually appealing promotional materials such as flyers and newsletters.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing efforts.

**Client Interaction**:

- Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Gather client feedback and testimonials for use in marketing materials.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in administrative support or a similar role.
- Proficient in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- A background or interest in photography.
- Experience in marketing or a related field.
- Knowledge of SEO and online advertising.
- Graphic design skills for creating marketing materials.
