Administrative Assistant

Role and responsibilities
Manage and organise electronic files and documents
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
Assisting with organizing and coordinating staff events, including team-building activities, social gatherings, and celebrations, ensuring successful execution and positive employee engagement
Schedule lectures, meetings and manage calendars
Assist with client queries
Assist with data entry and record-keeping
Arrange for IT support and correspond with IT professionals to resolve technical issues
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Accurately fill in and maintain attendance registers for staff, ensuring records are up-to-date
Assist with internship reporting
Assist with internship recruitment
Manage and update the asset register, accurate records, and efficient resource utilization
Provide support for various project management tasks
Assist senior staff in verifying meeting notes and ensuring the completion of action items.
Education, experience and competencies
Three-year diploma
Bookkeeping experience is advantageous
Prior administrative experience
Valid drivers licence - Own vehicle for errands
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and remotely with mínimal supervision
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
