In your role as Paid Social Manager, you understand the importance of digital content delivery in today’s world of brand and business marketing. We are looking for a diligent, results-driven and talented Paid Social Manager to join the agency’s fantastic and ambitious Strategy & Social team as they grow and expand their offices in South Africa.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the implementation of Paid Social in varying platforms
- Input and assist with the management of campaigns including planning, buying and activation alongside liaising with our in-house Strategy & Creative teams
- Excellent experience of using Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit and X
- Involvement in the overall client pitch process
- Track client’s performance against strategic plan
- Ensure that an effective, resource-efficient planning process is utilised
- Take insight and develop proposals and leading knowledge to support the execution of our clients
- Understanding of setting up, analysing, and optimising large scale full funnel Paid Social campaigns
- Sole ability to produce an accurate full funnel eComm plan for new and existing clients, demonstrating growth through activation
- Set account and creative best practice assisting juniors to implement best in class structural, training, and creative excellence
- Concisely articulate performance updates to key stakeholders and champion the Paid Social channel
- Responsible for account audits, hygiene and ensuring set up is in line with best practice
- Work with the creative team to brief paid social content that fits to best practice, and works in line organic social and content strategy. Deliver best in class creative recommendations, personalisation, and segmentation strategies
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and the evolving digital landscape
- Develop test plans and roadmaps to continually learn and refine campaigns.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant Degree/Diploma
- 3-5 years agency experience
- Interest in working with a Global and growing business
- Excellent English language skills
- Ability to work with both B2B and B2C clients
- Understanding of Paid Search & PPC would be useful
- Proactive and professional attitude towards self-improvement and commercial awareness
- Experience creating content for social media. You don’t have to be an expert, but we are looking for someone with previous experience, even if it’s for personal projects
- Ability to work to meet tight deadlines and quick turnarounds on projects
- Use initiative to manage workload
- High level of detail and accuracy
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent written communication skills
- Clear communicator
