Are you passionate about social media and are looking to join vibrant digital marketing team? Look no further. Reach Digital SA is looking for a social media community manager to join our team in Cape Town. We are looking for someone who is passionate about social media and has experience in managing social media pages on behalf of clients.
We are looking for someone who will oversee our clients’ brand page interactions with the public, maintain a presence on social media platforms such as Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. You will be managing the social media communities for some of SA’s biggest brands.
Success in this role comes down to understanding our client’s brand and offerings, as well as customer relationship management. You will be responsible for facilitating meaningful connections and maintaining relationships with customers.

**Responsibilities**:
Build and manage our clients' social media communities, profiles and presence on various platforms, including Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Daily social media engagement and platform management
Respond to customers promptly and help resolve grievances
Assist monthly content calendars with engaging, discussion-worthy content in line with the social media strategy (content calendars)
Follow and execute briefs
Help to define and develop the social media strategy for assigned clients
Developing target lists of new community members and invite these prospects to the relevant communities
Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about client brands, solutions and factors that influence their industry
Work alongside paid media and creative teams to develop paid media campaigns and video/graphic content for social accounts under your supervision
Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
Report and provide feedback and insight on clients’ audiences and the success of social activity across various platforms
Engage with clients with regards to content calendars and reporting.

**Required**:
Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role
Digital copywriting experience
Knowledge of online marketing
Proficient in English and other South Africa languages such as isiZulu, isiXhosa, or Sotho
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
Ability to relate and connect with customers.

**Advantageous**:
Strong interest and understanding in digital marketing, fashion and other local brands
Experience working in customer service
Strong Microsoft skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
A marketing/advertising diploma/degree would be beneficial
Digital agency experience (up to two years)
Broad experience across all digital media platforms (one + year's)
Facebook, Instagram and or LinkedIn Paid Media advertising experience.
