- Perform first line general technical support to end-users remotely and telephonically in all departments
- Help, assist and train users on the usage of the IT systems in general.
- Follow standard IT Help Desk procedures.
- Administer Manage Engine Service Desk System
- Keeping track of status of calls attended to pending and resolved calls.
- Compile monthly report on logged calls to report on the status quo and functionality of IT related programmes and procedures.
- Filing and administrative duties.
- Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as requested or instructed by supervisor (management) from time to time.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Grade 12
- A related IT qualification (ND or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, IT Service Desk System(s)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of systems and network administration
- Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
- Ability to multitask, maintain focus under pressure and always ensure accuracy and attention to detail
- Two to three 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar capacity within an IT environment
