Receptionist/administrator

**Job purpose**:To manage time and daily scheduling of meetings, correspondence and note-taking. Added primary functions also include answering phone calls, providing assistance to management when needed and Ad hoc receptionist functions.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- General filing
- Manage all phone calls/ switchboard
- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Receiving and sorting daily mail
- Trac - Tech (Ensuring the accuracy on the timesheets)
- Psiber - update leave management timeously
- Liaise with Human Resource with employee issues/concerns
- Update on employee short hours, disciplinary history, absenteeism

**Skills Required**:

- Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be part of confidential information or meetings
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- The ability to be proactive and take the initiative
- Communication skills
- A knowledge of standard software packages i.e MS Office and or the ability to learn company-specific software if required
