**Receptionist - Observatory (12 month-fixed term contract) - onsite**
**Salary - Market related**
**An exciting opportunity exists for a Receptionist to join our client, who is in the biomedical space.**
**The successful incumbent would be responsible for the following**:
**Responsibilities**:
Greeting and welcoming of visitors/tenants/clients.
Answering the phone, transferring calls to the relevant person, and taking messages.
Basic filing, administration, record keeping, i.e.: visitors logs, ad-hoc diary management, reservations and booking (conferences/flights, etc.)
Taking minutes in relevant minutes.
Managing tenants’ contracts and assisting them with any queries they have.
Setting up meetings with tenants regarding expiration of contracts.
Updating contact information and expiry dates of the tenant’s contract.
Managing service provider contracts and expiry dates of SLA’s, MOU’s.
Advertising vacant sub-let premises.
Liaising and assisting internal staff with maintenance queries.
Follow up on POs and ensuring payments are done according to the timeframes.
Assist with creating Project IDs on SharePoint.
Assist with updating supplier list.
Ensuring the reception area is neat and tidy.
Maintain the signing and out of allocated parking bays.
Maintain the ERS Biometrics access control software and hardware.
Assist platform managers with stock, supplier and quotation enquiries.
General administration and ad hoc duties.
Minimum requirements:
Matric/Grade 12.
Relevant Certificate/National Diploma in office or business management (advantageous).
Property/Rental Agent experience (advantageous).
Finance and Admin background (advantageous).
Project management / support experience (advantageous).
Strong Microsoft Office 365 Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Planning and organizational skills.
Accurate and paying attention to detail.
Willingness to learn.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
