Facilities Manager

Our client, a donor funded and dynamic organisation, who prides themselves on being part of passionate activism, resources sharing and related inclusivity connection projects and events, are seeking a Facilities manager to join their team based in Mowbray.
**KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION**:
- You must have a Matric or equivalent, coupled with 5+ years of experience in building, facilities and grounds maintenance management, project planning/execution, scheduling, Director reporting, budget management and contractor/staff management
- The building is a heritage site so you MUST have experience with maintenance on heritage sites, you must also understand building and ground risks, be able to work with subcontractor arrangements, and supervise other maintenance staff
- Your career portfolio MUST contain and provide evidence of a solid understanding of building, solar systems, plumbing, electrical, security, and the surrounding gardens management, as well as the requirements to ensure the perfect functioning of all aspects of the existing building and surrounds.
- You must be able to do maintenance planning, staff/contractor planning, relevant administration, running reports on expenses etc.
- You must be willing to work on weekends and be on standby.
- Proficiency on G-Suite software is essential
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
