Hotel on the West Rand is looking for an Accounts Payable (Creditors) Clerk.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording supplier invoices and other relevant accounts payable data on Pastel
- Ensure all Creditor Invoices are SARS Compliant
- Reconcile Supplier Statements with Supplier Ledger Accounts bi-monthly.
- Investigate discrepancies arising from reconciliations and resolve supplier queries
- Prepare and submit payments requests with all relevant supporting documents timeously for mid-month and month-end payment runs to the Financial manager.
- Adhere to deadlines as set by Financial Manager
- Perform Daily / Weekly Cash Ups
- Assist in other relevant department activities from time to time as per Management Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting would be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of Accounts Payable principles
- At 2 Years’ working experience in an accounting environment
- Sage Pastel Partner experience and knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of packages
- Knowledge of Business banking (ABSA and FNB preferably)
- Strong personality and ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical ability
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High level of Numerical ability
- High Degree of accuracy and attention to detail with data capturing
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Ability to maintain required work standards at all times
