**Job Purpose**:

- The National Training and Compliance Manager, in conjuction with the Head of Talent and Training, is responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining strategic and operational learning and organizational development programs for the Company,
- Focusiing on strategically developing and driving a high learning culture within the business and to facilitate and provide end-to-end learning and development interventions as well as supporting the overall business strategy and capability through the development of key and sophisticated learning best practices and solutions.
- The incumbant is responsible to ensure that National Training policies, Procedures and Compliance are managed effectively and in accordance with business requirements.
- Legislation and TETA requirements and acts as the organisations Skills Development Facilitator.
- Ensuring that interventions are implemented in accordance with relevant legislation and measured to show effectiveness and value add to the organisation and employees is critical to the success of this role.
- Procuring and managing service providers and controlling and optimising skills spent in line with the BBBEE requirements of the organisation is key to the success in this position.

Qualification**:

- Secondary Education: Matric
- Tertiary Education: B Degree, post graduate would be advantageous
- Assessor and moderator training certification
- ETDP Qualification
- **
Experience**:

- Years of experience required:

- 5 plus years as a training manager leading an in-house Academy, or SDF
- SETA Knowledge and submissions.
- Implementation of Quality Management system (Policies, procedures and reporting).
- Expereince with high-level presentations & negotiating at Senior Management levels / Middle management
- Having established networks within the Supply Chain industry and TETA will add value
- Knowledge and understanding of BBBEE Scorecard.
- Knowledge of Skills Development Act - B-BBEE Scorecard requirements
- Implementation and managing of Learnerships and development programmes

**Competencies**:

- SETA Knowledge and submissions.
- Implementation of Quality Management systems. Policies, procedures and reporting.
- Knowledge and understanding of BBBEE Scorecard.
- Knowledge & understanding of the Supply Chain Logistics/Freight Forwarding Industry.
- Managing Training Budgets and Finance and BBBEE requirements.
**Skills**:

- Understanding of SAGE People
- Computer Literacy: Expert in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI and Microsoft Forms
