**Payroll Administrator**

**Sandton**

**Position available ASAP**

**Job Summary**

The administrator will be responsible for preparing payrolls and related records for employee salaries and statutory record keeping purposes. The employee will report to the Group Payroll Administrator.

**This role includes, but is not limited to**:
**Processing Payroll**
- Loading of new employees
- Preparation of payroll input files
- The capture and processing of all permanent and temporary amendments
- Investigation of any/all discrepancies by checking payroll against previous month
- Capturing of terminations and transfers
- Calculation and processing of manual payments when required

**Administrative Duties**
- Maintenance and update of personnel files
- Print and distribute payslips if/when required
- Ad hoc payroll related duties when required
- Ensure filing and scanning is up to date

**General**
- Assist employees with any payroll related queries
- Process third party payments
- General ledger reconciliation
- Assist fellow team members if/where necessary

**Requirements**:

- 5 or more years Sage 300 payroll experience
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Must be detail orientated
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Ability to maintain data integrity
- Strong report writing skills
- Protection of confidential information
- Bookkeeping experience an advantage
- Must have at least 20 years experience - This is a must have - This is a snr role and require extensive experience
- It will be a added advantage if the person is from the construction industry - This is not a must

Working Hours 7:30 - 16:00 Mon - Friday
