**Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bryanston**

A multi-hospital healthcare organisation requires a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational excellence, financial performance, and quality of care with the ability to lead and optimize a complex organization through a dynamic and evolving healthcare landscape.

**Education, Qualifications and Experience**
- A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Medical degree (MD) or a relevant clinical background is advantageous.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of executive-level leadership experience in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of managing complex hospital systems.

**Skills and Knowledge Requirements**
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and healthcare policy.
- Exceptional financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
- Strategic thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to improving patient care and healthcare services.
- Experience with working in hospitals.
- Experience with the structuring of commercial contracts within the hospital sector.
- Strategic leader with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ethical and moral compass, dedicated to patient-centered care.

**Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)**

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement the hospital group's strategy, tactical and operations objectives, aligning them with the ever-changing healthcare environment
- Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand the group's reach and influence in the healthcare sector (new regulation, new opportunities in health funds and NHI) for health funding and medical professional (insurance, medical aid and government funding).

Financial Management:

- Oversee the financial health of the hospital group, ensuring sound budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation strategies.
- Monitor and optimize the group's financial performance, investments, and capital allocation.

Operational Excellence:

- Establish and maintain high operational standards across all hospitals, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, compliance with regulations, and consistent accreditation standards.

Quality of Care:

- Promote a culture of patient-centered care, quality improvement, and clinical excellence.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics to track quality of care and patient safety, making continuous improvements as needed.

Human Resources Management:

- Lead and inspire a diverse and multidisciplinary team, recruiting and retaining top healthcare talent.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and employee engagement.

Technology:

- Implement the selected hospital technology and optimization functionality to facilitate operations and generate management data in order to formulate sound decision making in order to maximize earnings.
- Stay up to date with advancements in medical science and healthcare management.

Risk Management:

- Assess and mitigate risks, including legal, financial, and reputational risks, to protect the hospital group's interests.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management strategies and policies (governance, new regulations, ESG).
