**Requirements**:

- CA (SA) with around 5-10+ years of experience
- Hands on experience in SAP
- Desired key strengths - ownership, controllership, analytical ability, business understanding, team player, problem solving, decision making and value orientation
- Ability to work under pressure, tight timelines and manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience in agri commodity or other trading HIGHLY PREFERABLE
- Day to day accounting, monthly MIS, quarterly & annual financial reporting
- Reconciliation of vendor, customer & inter-company transactions, ageing analysis and highlighting areas of concerns and taking timely corrective actions
- Complete understanding of Trial Balance, ability to understand numbers and explain it to various stakeholders in an unambiguous manner
- Adherence to company’s accounting & authorization policies
- Risk management (credit, counter party, currency) and adherence to risk policies
- Hands on experience in SAP
- Providing oversight, guidance & training to accounts team
- Drive annual overhead budgeting exercise & carry out variance analysis between budget & actuals on monthly basis
- Understanding of & compliance with local laws, accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Oversee banking operations & cash flow management
- Ensure tight controls by:

- reviewing vendor & customer balances, counter party exposures, currency exposures on weekly basis and comparing it with approved limits by risk office and reporting any breach
- monthly physical verification & reconciliation of stock
- proper control on fixed assets by way of proper documents keeping and periodical physical verification of fixed assets
- strict adherence to key processes & proper documentation keeping
- Comparing actual direct costs with budgets and highlighting deviations on monthly basis
- Handle annual statutory audit
- Handle company’s legal matters with the help of external legal counsel
- Review & ensure adequacy of insurance covers for credit, fixed assets & stock at all times
- Handle adhoc information & analysis requirements from operations & finance
- Prepare finance analysis, projected financials & investment thesis for new investment projects
- Develop relationships with key external stakeholders - Auditors, Banks, Tax Authorities, Insurance brokers
- Develop deep understanding of business & ability to explain financial performance to the business teams in uncluttered manner
