Account Manager Business Channel

Our client, a well-known manufacturer is looking for a strongly motivated Account Manager who will develop a strong relationship with their Business Channel key accounts to ensure that a long term strategic relationship is maintained with the customer to optimize revenue and margin from the account.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Tertiary Qualification: Communications, PR or Marketing with a focus on Sales
- FMCG Off
- Trade Sales Experience 5 -10 Years
- Existing Relationships with Off
- Trade customers would set you apart from the rest
- Proven sales track record
- Commercial acumen
- Advanced Excel
- Own car essential
- Willing to work long hours 05:30 - 17:00, 6 days a week
**Responsibilities**
- Develop an intimate understanding of the customer’s business using a variety of sources and identify and explore market share opportunities
- Developing and maintaining long term strategic relationships with Key Customers
- Develop innovative solutions for customers that not only support our current product portfolio but lead the business in improving those products and developing new ones.
- Prepare bespoke strategic plans, marketing activities, to maximize opportunities and value for both parties
- Implement and manage strategic activities to increase market share on any ongoing basis
- Monitor performance of strategic plans and evaluate successes, risks and opportunities and formulate plans to address these
- Identify key influencers and decision-makers within customers, develop and maintain relationships
- Project management
- Manage interaction of customers
