**Personal Assistant & Event Co-ordinator Waterfront Cape Town**
Our client is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant & Event CO-ordinator to assist the COO with daily duties. Some experience in hospitality or event management, and any experience working in creative fields or companies previously will a great advantage.
**Salary**: Negotiable Position Type: Permanent Office based position
Min Requirements
- Matric and or relevant qualification
- Professional qualifications and further relevant study will be looked at favourably.
- Computer literate in the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is non-negotiable.
- High level of numeracy
- Preparation and management of budgets, costing sheets, and quote comparisons.
- Very good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong administrative and organisational skills Job description
- Preparing meeting agendas and working with Central Office to ensure that agenda items are followed up by relevant individuals.
- Following progress reports across departments and office
- Following meetings and teleconferences with company clients, external stakeholders and professionals and summarizing events in concise actionable format for wider distribution.
- Preparation of reports and presentations, after receiving relevant information from senior management, for internal and external distribution
- Preparation and management of internal budgets, costing sheets, and quote comparisons.
- Implementing, and assisting in designing, company-wide systems and protocols, and managing use of such systems.
- Calendar and travel management for Senior Management.
- Demonstrable ability to organize multiple tasks.
- Ability to prioritize workflows and work in teams to ensure workflows are completed to time.
- High level of comprehension to read documents and ascertain requirements.
- Ability to independently execute tasks.*
- Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment with irregular working hours depending on project requirements.
