Bid Writing Manager

We are seeking a seasoned **Bid Writing Manager **to join our team on a freelance basis. The

experience in the digital marketing sector being an added advantage (though not a strict

requirement).

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Bid Strategy Development**:
○ Conduct in-depth analysis of RFPs/RFQs to identify key evaluation criteria.

○ Develop compelling bid strategies that align with our organisation's business

objectives.

○ Craft persuasive value propositions to differentiate our offerings from

competitors.

2. **Bid Writing and Editing**:
○ Produce high-quality, persuasive, and compliant bid documents.

○ Ensure all submissions strictly adhere to proposal guidelines and formatting

requirements.

○ Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks to guarantee clarity, consistency, and

accuracy.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in bid writing, particularly in delivering successful outcomes.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Strong research skills to gather insights for crafting competitive bids.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple submissions.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and platforms.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivation and strong organisational skills.
- Analytical mindset for identifying key RFP criteria.

**Working Conditions**:

- This is a **remote **freelance position based in South Africa.
- Work will be performed on a **submission basis**, with an expectation of completing **2-3**

**submissions per month**.
- Access to our tendering platform will be provided to identify suitable opportunities.
