Bid and Proposals Writer

**Role summary**:
As a Bid and Proposal Writer, you’ll be a key member of a high-performing sales team driving the Company's growth strategy in EMEA and the US. You will be writing beautiful and compelling proposals to competitively position the OES group as leaders in the digital learning space. As part of a growing team you’ll have the opportunity to make the role your own and make an impact in a big way.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the creation of RFPs, tenders, proposals, presentations and other business development collateral
- Work with the Sales Team to establish an official bid and proposals response process
- Coordinate and project manage the end-to-end bidding process, starting from the analysis of tender requirements, up to proposal preparation, and through to final submission
- Craft compelling value propositions, win themes and competitive strategies for the specific client and opportunity
- Proposal development: Oversee the development of comprehensive and persuasive bid proposals. Ensure the proposal content is accurate, compelling, and compliant with client specifications and that it has received appropriate internal sign offs
- Risk assessment and mitigation: Together with the bid team, identify and address potential risks associated with bids or the delivery of the contract, such as legal or contractual obligations, financial risks, or technical challenges. Develop risk mitigation strategies
- Plan ahead: monitor the market and stay informed of forthcoming bidding opportunities by collaborating with the sales tea, and monitoring any tender notification portals
- Continuous research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, bidding best practices, and other emerging technologies
- Conduct client, industry and competitor research to demonstrate excellent understanding of the client and inform the competitive positioning of a proposal for a more tailored approach
- Create and update content for knowledge base/response library

**Requirements**:

- Degree or equivalent experience in business, communications or related discipline.
- Proven experience leading the development of B2B RFPs, proposals, tenders and pitch presentations, ideally from a bid team or successful sales/client management background.
- Outstanding business writing skills, with the ability to develop win strategies and write compelling sales/marketing collateral.
- Strong project management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic and commercial mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
