**Job Description**:

- The purpose of the Training Coordinator is to perform training co-ordination and administration for the Training and HR department in compliance with governance and departmental standards.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Coordination of training activities for employees.
- Handling of logistics for training interventions (internal and external) including travel bookings, venues, equipment, catering, visitor requests and security clearances etc.
- Ensuring that training delegates are informed of training interventions and calendars scheduled accordingly.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers.
- Completion of all training related administration in the Academy and Human Resources for internal and external learners using internal (Academy LRD, HRD, DBSSSA shared calendar, SAP and ISO) and external (MQA SIMS database) information systems and technology.
- Assistance with internal and external regulatory audits.
- Assurance that all data and information gained and collected in the course of the area’s business is safeguarded with full respect for confidentiality and security and processed inline with the Personal Information protection legislation.
- Updating of Academy Policies and Procedures onto the agreed coordinating guidelines document template and scanning it in to the R-drive.
- Dealing with external stakeholders, e.g. MQA, regarding learner registration and certification as required.
- Qualifications
- Relevant Commerce, Education Training and Development, HR, or related Diploma.

**Role specific knowledge and experience**:

- Relevant experience in training coordination/ administration.
- SAP system experience - capturing data, running reports, purchase requisitions/orders.
- Knowledge of training regulations / Education, Training and Development Practice (ETDP) training in South Africa will be an advantage.
- Experience in SETA / ETQA databases will be an advantage.
- Experiential knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management standard administration will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of SuccessFactors LMS systems is desirable.
