About the role

We're looking for young, dynamic, and highly driven individuals to fulfill a specialised role in our Outbound sales division. Individuals will be responsible for researching clients from bases provided, cold calling clients and creating interest, confirming they meet qualifying criteria and pre-approving them, before handing them over to our senior funding specialists who facilitate the remainder of the process.

This role will report into the Head of Sales and Client Experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Invest deeply in understanding the SME market, different industries, and what challenges they typically face, what they typically take funding for, and why.
- Understanding the company's product offerings, how we can customise our solutions, and how we can fill gaps in funding requirements.
- Researching each lead provided, adding research onto the CRM system, and using research to build rapport with prospects.
- Using research, knowledge, and rapport, to uncover client funding requirements.
- Work diligently through lead pipelines on CRM systems, taking care to contact each lead with the appropriate number of times (avoiding spamming).
- Managing CRM system health, updating incorrect contact numbers, industry data, etc, and closing leads off in the correct category for correct future re-engagement.
- Maintain 80 calls per day in a high-volume sales environment.
- Pre-scrub clients to ensure they pass qualifying criteria.
- Pre-approve clients for facility sizes to ensure they are truly interested in the product.
- Collaborate with Senior funding specialists on weekly rotation to gain knowledge and support their strategy for that week.

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant diploma or degree
- Outbound sales call center experience (required)
- SME experience or retail experience (Advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

▪ Drive pipeline stage targets to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets of the Cash Advance and other ancillary products, within the pricing parameters set.

▪ Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and prospects on a continuous basis to maximize sales.

▪ Use calls, marketing material and automated nurturing to achieve front of mind position with prospects, keep on top of follow ups and keep the pipe ‘clean’.

▪ Monitor trends in the market and with prospects, to bring insights to management and the sales team.

▪ Explain the product and qualifying criteria and understand clients’ needs to pitch the value proposition appropriately.

▪ Screen financial viability, manage expectations, obtain credit related documents from the prospect, and follow all administrative process requirements.

▪ Decline or prepare quotation (Price, Deal Value) based on credit info and insight at this stage of the sales process.

▪ Ensure that all agreed objectives and expectations with the prospect are achieved.

▪ Ensure accurate preparation of the credit pack for presentation to the Underwriting department, summarizing the following:
▪ Assessment of statements and bank statements of credit applicant

▪ Summarize “probing questions” to clients on transactions and behaviours.

▪ Recommendation to credit on price, term, and value of the deal

▪ To maintain and update the CRM System (Sales Force) accurately and timeously including:
Loading of relevant fields for new and existing client

▪ Ensure follow ups and details per interaction are recorded.

**Qualifications**:
▪ Matric

▪ Business Management Diploma or similar (advantageous).

Experience

▪ 3 years’ relevant work experience in a sales environment.

▪ Financial and service experience (advantageous).

Pay: R10 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (required)
- Finance: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- clear English ACCENT (required)
