Job purpose statement:
Responsible for the administration, and general input for payroll/ HR support function.
The main focus areas of the role are:
- Wages, personnel administration, IFS administration, other general HR duties
Outputs:
- Ensuring contracts are prepared, signed and all engagement paperwork duly completed and signed off
- Assisting with Onboarding procedures, ensuring all onboarding documentation completed and submitted
- Creating and maintaining electronic personnel records
- Capturing new employees onto payroll and ERP system
- Following up on contract changes, extension, preparing paperwork, assisting with motivations, and updating systems of changes (Payroll & ERP)
- Support payroll with salary inputs and changes
- Assisting with System, IT activations & deactivation
- Administration assistance with Termination paperwork and exit procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12
- Payroll training / certification (if no payroll qualifications, no less than 5 years relevant experience required)
**Experience**:
- 3-5 years relevant payroll and / wages experience
- Experience in human resources in the construction industry is preferred.
