Solar Sales Executive

Our client in the solar energy industry based in Midrand is currently looking for a **Solar Sales Executive**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sell solar energy solutions.
- New business development - this is a new division within the company and therefore looking for a self-starter.
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets.
- Establishment of new client base.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, weekly work plans and call reports.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
- All administration around the sales function, including preparation of documentation, quotations, follow ups and lead administration.

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 4 years demonstrated experience in obtaining sales leads in the solar/energy industry and other compatible businesses.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, ethically and target driven.
- Own vehicle with a valid driver’s licence.

**Renumeration**:

- R13 000 - R18 000 per month + commission.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
