**Role Purpose**

The role requires the management of the end-to-end life cycle of a learning process to deliver the right training, to the right people, at the right time, in a manner that enhances the learner experience, is personalised and seamless. This role is required to drive innovation in learning experience so as to deliver world-class learning solutions which represent industry best practice. Due to the complexity of this role, it requires agile coordination and project management skills, high-speed thinking coupled with logical reasoning and extreme attention to detail. The incumbent will be required to engage with the provincial stakeholders and ensure that they manage a team of facilitators to deliver on the L&D strategy.

**Requirements**:
Relevant B degree or diploma.

ODETDP qualification (Facilitation and Design/Development of learning material).

Min 5 years facilitation experience.

2 years instructional design experience is advantageous.

Min 5 years’ experience in a management role.

Experience in reporting on ROI within the learning environment.

Solid business acumen.

Highly proficient in MS Office and excellence in report writing and data analysis.

Experience in working on an LMS.

Ability to work autonomously and prioritize competing deliverables.

Quickly able to analyse problems, identify risks and develop appropriate solutions.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Availability to travel and work outside of typical business hours as required.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Stakeholder engagement and business partnering**:
Engage and partner closely with provincial stakeholders (PGMs, RMs, BMs, HC) to assess learning needs (TNA), develop recommendations and implement learning interventions to improve the performance of individuals, teams and the business results.

Effectively manage interactions with stakeholders including setting expectations, holding and attending meetings, balancing priorities and on-going project updates.

Partner with stakeholders to develop a learning culture that fosters an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and cohesiveness.

Partner with Human Capital teams to drive integration of learning and human capital initiatives.

Ardent and proactive collaboration with other L&D Business Partners to ensure a consistent approach nationally.

Flags existing and emerging risks and takes proactive steps with stakeholders to mitigate and manager.

**Management of delivery and L&D experience**:
Effectively attract, lead, manage and coach a diverse and distributed team of facilitators on delivering effective learning solutions that maximize learner performance and meet learning priorities.

Effectively manage the development areas and performance needs of direct reports to drive continuous improvement.

Plan, schedule and manage operational activities of learning team to ensure the effective delivery of learning events aligned to the learning plan.

Effective management of the Learning coordinator to ensure that the execution and delivery of learning interventions is planned, considering the availability of resources, business priorities, timelines, business readiness and regulatory requirements.

Ensure the execution of learning events is aligned to learning plans, objectives and standards to drive a consistent learning experience.

Design and develop learning material and content, as per needs identified by client and Stakeholders.

Manage the quality, standards, and consistency of all learning interventions.

Address escalated queries and act as moderator of assessments and learning events.

Facilitate learning intervention and solutions training as required.

Create a positive work climate and culture to energize employees, give meaning to work, minimise work disruption and maximize employee productivity.

Select and recruit suitably qualified talent in line with Employment Equity principles and culture.

Encourage innovation, change agility and collaboration within the team.

Drive a high-performance culture within your team.

**Client and learner engagement**:
Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders.

Deliver on and exceed expectations of clients, internal and external stakeholders.

Continually look for ways to enhance the learning function such as efficiencies and further value add.
