Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a Positive Work Environment: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and job satisfaction.
  • Support Hiring Processes: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent, develop job descriptions, and oversee the onboarding process.
  • Coordinate Performance Reviews: Design and implement performance management systems, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Optimize HRIS: Ensure accurate record-keeping, manage daily HR tasks, and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support Payroll Processing: Verify payroll accuracy, ensure timely payments, and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Identify Training Needs: Analyze training requirements, develop training programs, and measure their effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Experience with payroll processing, biometric systems, and shift patterns.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems.
  • Strong understanding of job grading systems and legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA).
  • Previous experience in a unionized environment is advantageous.
