**BIOVAC** is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa, with our core purpose being to "protect life". We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous State Key Accounts Lead to join a goal-oriented team.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED**:

- General Understanding of government tenders, experience and work knowledge of public sector pharmaceutical sales and procurement processes.
- Good understanding of the primary health care and the extended program on immunisation (EPI).
- Degree in Sales/Marketing and/or Administration and/or Customer relationship management/Equivalent.
- Recognition is given to Prior Learning and practical experience.

**NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE**:

- Previous experience, minimum 3-4 years in sales, marketing, or product management in a pharmaceutical environment preferably some in the vaccine market.
- Customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of the legislation surrounding the pharmaceutical industry, inclusive of pricing, marketing, and regulatory issues.
- Knowledge and ability to interpret IMS market data.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**:

- Sales:

- Implement a plan to achieve sales target for both private and public sector, including working on social mobilisation activities to assist with improving vaccine uptake coverage.
- Work with the provinces to ensure an improvement of service provision, better understanding of provinces and procurement processes.
- Monitor and anticipate competitor activity throughout the industry.
- Assist in identifying tender opportunities and completion of state tenders.
- Sales Strategy:

- Assist with sales forecasting.
- Implement a plan to achieve sales targets within agreed expense budget.
- Identify through networking in provinces and provide feedback required to support and strengthen Litha's position and presence in the public sector.
- Customer Relations Management Strategy:

- Develop and implement a CRM strategy.
- Understand customer values to achieve profitable key supplier status.
- EPI support:

- Maintain contemporary knowledge of industry as well as existing and potential customer footprint, operational capabilities and vaccine and other market trends.
- Participate with developing, implementing, and reviewing the company's medium and long-term strategy in line with public sector strategies and devising rolling plans to ensure relevance and sustainability.
- Devise a data intelligence infrastructure and provide reporting mechanisms on statistics and trends applicable to vaccines similar products and services and its impact in the health industry, using data analytics. Furthermore, provide recommendations that will aid proactive and effective stakeholder engagement as well as business continuity with our healthcare partners.
- Represent the company at key industry events and assist with promoting the company through effective PR strategies aimed at key stakeholders including customers, business partners, third party collaborations and government departments/ officials locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
- Business Contribution:

- Assist the department with improving systems and processes.
- Continuously identify and recommend innovation and improvement initiatives and projects to line managers.
- Cross/ Inter-departmental management of expectations and influence over other departments deliverables to Sale delivers.
