Community Project Manager/ Administrator

My client is the philanthropic arm of a luxury inbound tour operator. They are looking for a Project Manager/ Administrator to work on site at their community project in the South Peninsula. An incredible project that is providing a much needed service for a local community, from computers and wifi, to a library, visiting educators, a safe place to do guided homework in the afternoons, and a real sense of understanding around the importance of working on achieving an education.
This is an on-site role, and will be varied - the mornings, when things are quieter, lend themselves to admin, marketing, ordering, getting quotes. The afternoons, when kids are back from school are busier, with lots of movement in and out, and would require a more hands on approach to their needs, to educators and special projects, even hosting international guests for site visits.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Casual Wages working out - updating spreadsheets from timesheets
- Sending invoices on behalf of freelancers
- Managing the personalised Welcome Card Project
- Managing Staff members
- Community Events - eg Choir outings, Community Pizza day etc
- Shopping - consumables and materials for maintenance
- Takelot /Supplier deliveries - taking deliver in private capacity and bringing to site
- Meetings (online and in person) with various stakeholders (board members/ donors, etc)
- Managing videographers and photographers
- Updating booking spreadsheet daily
- Reports - weekly report and stats to board
- Quarterly Stock takes - Library books and Computer Hardware
- Leading tours/ site visits
- Ordering library books
- Getting quotes - 3 quote process
- Identifying & managing maintenance projects
- Co-ordinating and managing IT classes, Literacy and numeracy projects, Art classes.
- Checking visitors reports - linking them to main booking spreadsheet.
- Computer, Hardware, Printing and Wifi maintenance and repairs service provider
- Outreach programmes: set up a minimum of 3 with local model C and private schools, operating on a regular basis
- Community Educational Initiatives: Drive regular initiatives to benefit the community by education - talks / presentations etc from outside experts
- Donor Requirements: Play a leading support role by sharing information and activities that would stimulate donors

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R22,000.00 per month
