  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the HR field.
  • Previous experience with handling disciplinary matters and Employment Equity Plan creations / submissions.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

  • Staff queries and information-liaison with company's Provident Fund, Payroll, Medical Providers.
  • Overall point of contact for staff queries.
  • Recruitment support for key positions - write up job descriptions, screen candidates, etc.
  • Run and support for disciplinary procedures with each division head and senior management (and liaison with legal advisors and external HR consultants if applicable).
  • Support for compliance with Employment Equity Plan and other HR related tasks (BEE documentation, SDL Levy claims, etc.).
  • Staff training (plan adequate courses with each Team Manager and allocate/schedule courses for the respective team members).
  • New staff inception-process support (work contracts, payroll setup, Medical Aid transitions, Provident Fund Setup, etc.).
  • Handle Department of Labour inspections or other compliance/documentation requests (when applicable).
  • Support with ISO 9001 related updates and document creation.
